CANLOVE : Graffiti Recycling Program
We are pioneers in the recycling of spray paint cans, creating artwork big and small from the discarded tools of street artists. As a muralist myself , I knew many years ago I had a special affinity for spray paint. Never throwing away my cans, eventually led to me cutting them open, discovering a very interesting new material full of color and possibilities.
The work we try to create comes from a very fun and joyous place with a huge influence by nature itself. Colorful transformations that go from the mechanical into the organic. Playful objects tend to manifest themselves in a growing number of ways and as we take on more and more cans to recycle, our goals grow as well. Ultimately we hope, to one day recycle all of the worlds graffiti cans.
